Why I write to...
By: Sharon Sauer
I write to learn. I write to question. I write because love is old. I write because love is new. I write to smash apathy. I write to create realistic "what-if"s. I write to empower voices that cannot be heard. I write to honor intelligence. I write to the first snowflake that touches the earth. I write to the first flower that grows in spring. I write because the world is not perfect. I write because the world is not perfect. I write because I am different. I write because I think different. And I write because I know what I am capable of.
