Why I Write

Why I Write
by Isabel Winder

I write to find myself hidden between the lines of each page. I write to grasp my dreams and spark them in others. I write to empty all my thoughts onto paper that I may sleep at night. I write to become better at writing. I write that I may bring words of light to a dark mind. I write to learn from my mistakes. I write to grow. I write to find the good in the world. I write to explore. I write to capture the salty texture of the air in warm places. I write to bring the moments froze in photographs to life, that they may breathe and never die.
